Argentina - Buenos Aires - Colonia, Uruguay
The city of Buenos Aires receives visitors from around the world. Besides it being the most cosmopolitan capital in South America is undoubtedly the most beautiful and flirtatious of the main urban centres. The city’s weather is temperate with and annual average temperature of 18°C. Winter temperatures vary between 3º-8ºC, while summers are humid with an average temperature of 28ºC.
Known as the "Queen of the River Plate", Buenos Aires is characterized by a multiplicity of artistic and cultural expression that surprise tourists as they travel around city. Among the most visited sites of this beautiful city are the San Telmo fair, the Boca neighbourhood, the Costanera Sur river coast, the centre of the city with its obelisk, and the Tigre delta, just a few miles away from the city centre.
In the evenings, "the city that never sleeps" is alive with concerts, shows, theatres, cinemas, casinos, discos, cafes and pubs that extend their welcome until nearly dawn.

The City of Buenos Aires
This excursion provides an opportunity to learn a little about the city of Buenos Aires. Amongst the places that will be visited are Avenida 9 de Julio, Teatro Colón, Obelisco, Congreso, Viejo Congreso, Manzana de las Luces, Plaza de Mayo, La Boca, El Caminito, Palermo, Recoleta and if timer permits, Café Tortoni. The excursion includes lunch in a restaurant in the fashionable port area of Puerto Madero.
Tigre and Río Paraná Delta Tour
One of the most famous tours in Buenos Aires is the excursion to Tigre and the Paraná Delta. This tour lasts a half day. On the way to the town of Tigre you will travel along Avenida del Libertador, through the residential areas of Vicente Lopez, Olivos and San Isidro, where the landscape is composed of elegant houses and lavish mansions. The presidential residence of Olivos will also be seen, the official home of the presidents of Argentina.
Once arrived at the Tigre River, you will embark a river launch which crosses the rivers and canals of the Delta. The river tour allows you to see the landscape of the islands and delta areas, and will give you an insight into the life of the delta islanders.
Tango Show
Enjoy the Tango in an intimate environment while you dine. The dinner is included. You will see and hear how the traditional Tango is expressed nowadays. Listen to a Tango orchestra while watching a sophisticated choreography as you enjoy your meal.
Estancia Day, the Pampas
Travel to a traditional estancia to enjoy a day with the gauchos. On arrival, you will be welcomed and received in a small traditional outhouse with savoury empanadas (a kind of pasty), soft drinks and wine. You will then be escorted around the estancia and visit the main residence, the museum, the bakery, the stables and other building essential to the daily management of a typical Argentine estancia. You will then be given an opportunity to be driven by horse and carriage, or ride your own horse.
Following the equestrian activities will be a “Gaucho Show” and an asado, a feast of roast meats, vegetables, bread and wine. While you enjoy your asado, professional dancers and singers entertain you with traditional Argentine folklore dances and songs. In the afternoon, Gauchos on horseback demonstrate their skills as they carry out their equestrian activities and games. This can be followed by a stroll around the lands of the estancia while enjoying the rural landscapes of the Argentine Pampas. There are also shops where regional crafts are available.
Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay
A full day excursion commencing with a pleasurable 3 hour cruise across the River Plate to Colonia del Sacramento. This old Portuguese colonial city dates from the 17th century and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage City. After lunch, which is included in the excursion, a tour around the city will include the old historical area of Barrio Histórico and its museums, and will continue along the coast until reaching Real de San Carlos and Plaza de Los Toros. Here there will be free time to enjoy the surrounding area until returning to Buenos Aires in the evening.
